bass in the north of us?
I live in Connecticut and recently found a pound largemouth under 6.8, is too big for my area?? Anyone trapped in northern states under any big or bigger, which made use of, or to trap? what baits and lures are known for capturing the low size monster? I go to a secret lake, nobody fish in the cases, the average of 4.5 pounds i catches throughout the day. anyway i can get the biggest bass Biting? "I have an estimate of a digital scale." My lure of choice is Senko, spinnerbaits and top water poppers, any suggestions?
This is a very good under the North. I live in Michigan and the largest I ever caught was 5.5 pounds. I would stick with the Senko, but I would suggest the yum dinger the Senko. I would try a Junebug color or black and blue in the normal way or the latest Forktail style. Almost all the colors I use are serious and large a number them. For clear water use darker colors and bright colors or use shady spots. Must also "coincides with the birth." Identify forage bait and try to match the color of the best I can. I would try all the different aspects of fixing it. Wacky, Texas rigged, Carolina team, and experience all possible ways. These lures are very versatile so it is captured under almost all modes of use. Good luck!
