To start, ask yourself this simple question. Are you in the habit of cleaning your vaginal area more frequently than required? If the previous question was answered in the affirmative, there is probably a clear reason why you are often surrounded by the odor of fish. Obsessive cleaning of your vagina can deprive it if its normal lubricants. All it takes is washing the region a couple of times to solve this problem. But also, ensure that you do not use perfumed products to clean your vagina.

Another possible solution on how to get rid of vaginal odor is wearing cotton panties. A simple switch to cotton undergarments can help reduce that terrible smell. As opposed to synthetic garments, cotton allows moisture and fresh air to circulate around your vaginal area which reduces that fishy odor.

A third way to mitigate this terrible odor is to clean your tampon frequently during menstruation. By using the same protection for an extended period of time, you invite countless bacteria. After removing the last tampon, always remember to thoroughly clean the area.

If you have burning or constant itching in the vaginal region, this can easily be mitigated by adding two cups of apple cider vinegar to your bathwater. Using the vinegar is the fourth method that will help you get rid of vaginal odor that smells fishy.

Just add the water to your bath and soak in it in excess of ten minutes.
