Does anyone have the new Shimano Stradic FI fishing reel?

If so what do you think of it? I'm thinking of getting one for bass fishing + Coastal saltwater fishing.

I own the largest series Stradic and think they are excellent reels. In fact, the single coil that I have today, are or Daiwa, Shimano, or Plfueger. (Although I have a flyreel Lamson, and I use to own 5 Penns before moving to MN and sold. There is no reason to own a 650SS in MN! Lol) However, after reading some comments (www.cabelas.com) I'm not so sure if the FI series held over time. You are taking a chance that not be as durable as their predecessors. Go read the magazine in cabelas.com! At $ 159 does not are some other options that might not have as many "mistakes" as the FI. Example: If you spend $ 159 on a Stradic (heck!) spend $ 200 and get a sustain! Bass Pro is on sale! And if you spend $ 200 on a sustained get a Quantum Cabo for $ 189! (Logic!) Everybody raves about these reels on the floors! I'm not a buyer of Quantum, but I have a friend who swears by them. I am currently living in MN, but when I move back home (San Augustine / Jacksonville, FLA), I'll buy a pair of Cape exactly what you intend to use yours for salt fishing inshore and Bass. Currently, I have my eye on the NEW Pflueger Supreme XT ($ 129). I think it will get to buy next week, for me! (Lol) Anyway, that's just my 2 cents. When the world is Reel and Rods has an opinion!
