Austin, TX - the capital of live music?

Austin, Texas, is recognized as the capital of live music around the world promoting as having the most musicians per capita of any city in the world. With over a hundred places always live there are dozens of Austin, Texas bands to see any time of year of all different styles from country to rock, to a variety of eclectic styles that play in any elsewhere.

A few of the artists of the Urban Music Festival have been Cameo, Boyz to men, and Sugar Hill Gang. The Fun Fun Fun Festival is another annual music festival that began in 2005 and has shown a wide range of artists over a few days in four stages. Some famous artists of the Festival Fun Fun Fun were the Bad Brains, and all the dead milkmen.

How Austin, TX became the basis for many Austin bands remains a mystery, but as music scene grew over time in Austin, the stigma that was the place to find and get to stardom began to draw a stampede of talented musicians across the country. Ron Ronhaar is the owner and band leader of the "The Grooves" which is one of the well-known Austin cover bands, well known for their ability to keep the dance floor packed all night with hit favorites from all genres. He has performed with his group for a living in Austin, San Antonio, Houston, Dallas and throughout Texas for weddings, corporate parties, society parties and fund raisers. After Ron started the band in 1991, the band rocketed to the peak of all Austin party bands and then took the state of Texas by storm. Ron and the Grooves Band are now in strong demand across Texas and are considered the finest of all Austin musicians available for any event.
