Lights, an Essential For Night Fishing

You might wonder why lights are important. Besides, providing you enough light to see things around, what is their purpose? The truth is that these lights are far more important than just being used for illumination. They are important because most fish are attracted towards light. Therefore, it becomes easy to catch them. Just like bugs may become attracted to your night bulb, fish is also attracted towards the shiny appearance of light. And know for a fact that when small fish come near, they bring along bigger fish, which are chasing behind them, closer to the fisherman.

Using two lights is better than using one light. This will help you if one of the lights dies down, as you will at least have a backup. If you are using both of them at a time, place them 3' to 4' part. This will enlarge the radius of light, and therefore bring in more fish towards the light. From the aforementioned lines, you can deduce that the key is to attract the bait-fish because other fish will follow behind. To attract bait-fish, the best choice is to use two lights at a time. One of them should be white, and the other can be either blue or green.

You can even make your own light which is not a difficult task. First, you need to have a plastic container. Next, make a hole in the handle. Make sure you do not make this hole inside the body of the container. Now, attach the fishing line to the box via this hole. If you are left with excess wire, tie it around something else that is lying around. Now that you are done making the container, you should test it. Make sure you close it tightly and then lower it down the water.
